SEOUL, Korea, Oct 30 (Korea Bizwire) – Wingko Story, a website providing travel information to those visiting Korea including public transportation, lodging, restaurants, and tourism attractions, has recently added a new section on “themed tours” for those coming to Korea for medical treatment or plastic surgery. In addition, the website offers community service pages on which users can discuss issues and share information with each other.

Lee Joo-youn, president of Wingko Communication, the company responsible for the website, said, “In the first half of this year, the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea has surpassed that for Japanese ones. Still, Chinese tourists are having a hard time finding good travel information on Korea because the information is not well organized on the Internet. Wingko Story tries to provide easy-to-look-for objective travel information by filtering out commercial fluff.”

The best reason that Wingko Story is loved by users is that it provides customized information depending on the user’s schedule and whether the travel is for individuals or groups. Its “Wing Show,” the information service the company will launch soon, will allow users to manage their travel schedules and find out exact expenses by typing in destinations, restaurants, and hotels they will visit. Unlike most other services that stop short of providing travel information for all kinds in an easy-to-search format, Wingko Story does all that and allows users to save a lot of money from reservations on the site.

Wingko’s Lee added, “I hope my company and website could play the role of bridging between China and Korea by helping Chinese tourists organize their trips to Korea.”

To celebrate the upgrade of the site, Wingko Story is currently holding a promotional event in which it gives away iPads and upscale cosmetic sets, as well as full package tour tickets to Korea for those Chinese Internet users to register as a member during the two-month period between October 1 and November 30. The second promotional event is offered for companies doing business for Chinese tourists as their main customers. For those 200 select advertisers, Wingko Communication offers free ads for three months. For further information on the events, visit the company’s website at www.wingkostory.com or call at 02-6365-1030.
