SEOUL, Mar. 26 (Korea Bizwire) – South Korean food giant Nongshim announced on Saturday that it will introduce its iconic “Hangang Shin Ramyun” instant noodles to over 800 chefs, judges, and gourmets attending the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony in Seoul on March 26.

Regarded as the “Academy Awards of gastronomy,” the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants event ranks and honors the top 50 restaurants across Asia. This year marks the first time the prestigious ceremony is being held in Korea since its inception in 2013.

Nongshim plans to set up a tasting zone themed around the iconic Shin Ramyun packaging design at the event venue. Instant noodle cooking machines will also be installed, allowing attendees to sample the beloved Shin Ramyun and Chapaguri (a popular noodle dish combining Chapagetti and Neoguri).

Additionally, Nongshim has secured a sponsorship agreement to personally present the “Highest New Entry Award” at the ceremony. This special recognition is bestowed upon the highest-ranked newcomer among restaurants making their debut on the coveted Asia’s 50 Best list this year.

“As K-food continues to garner global attention, positioning Korea as an emerging culinary tourism destination, we are delighted to participate in this significant event attended by world-renowned gourmets,” remarked a Nongshim representative. “By providing tasting opportunities for Shin Ramyun and Chapaguri, we anticipate increased promotion and creative product utilization through these influential attendees.”
