SEOUL, June 1 (Korea Bizwire) — The original cast of the long-running Broadway musical “Chicago” has returned to South Korea for the first time in six years.
The musical team’s press call performance took place at Blue Square Shinhan Card Hall in central Seoul on Wednesday.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2021, “Chicago” had experienced delays due to the pandemic before the original cast embarked on their U.S. tour.
This South Korean performance marks the cast’s first since 2015, following an earlier series of shows in 2003.
The musical is scheduled to run from June 27 until August 6, with Logan Floyd and Katie Frieden portraying the iconic roles of Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart in the Broadway cast.
