Overseas Korean Cultural Center to Reopen ‘K-Pop Classes’ in Response to High Demand

SEOUL, July 22 (Korea Bizwire)The Korea Cultural Center in Los Angeles is reopening K-pop classes 12 months after they were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The center announced that the ‘K-Pop Dance and Vocal Academy’ will reopen on Friday, until August 14.

The program had been an annual event since 2016 until the coronavirus led to its shutdown for a whole year.

The center has been receiving numerous inquiries from K-pop fans including BTS’s dedicated fan base ARMY about the program’s reopening.

The center, in response to high demand, said it will open up offline K-pop classes for vaccine recipients, as well as offer online classes.

The center plans to invite professional instructors with experience working with BTS and educating K-pop singers to hold special lectures.
