SEOUL, July 1 (Korea Bizwire) – The city of Paju has announced plans to develop a 15.5 billion won (US$ 13.8 million) theme park on a 200,000㎡ site around Majang Lake by 2017. The theme park, named Outro Theme Park, will be comprised of promenade routes, trekking courses, campgrounds and swimming pools.
The city is planning to make a connected tour ecosystem by linking existing parks, leisure facilities and an arboretum to the trekking courses and promenade routes to be developed.
The city is expecting to welcome 300,000 visitors a year once the park is fully developed, and create 500 new jobs.
