ULSAN, Jan.6 (Korea Bizwire) – Ulsan’s Dong-gu district has launched a ‘1:1 parking space’ service.
The local office announced that it has devoted a section on its homepage to the service, and is waiting for residents to apply.
The new service connects people with parking spaces and those who need a space to park their vehicles.
For instance, people can share their vacant parking spaces with visitors during the day. This could solve the city’s current parking problem, and at the same time create profits.
Those who wish to participate in the service can visit the homepage and input the location of the parking space, available hours, and fees.
In addition, those who need parking spaces can apply by writing the time and location they wish to park their cars.
Officials from the local office anticipate that the service will help to improve the bad parking situation in the area, and help save money needed to build more parking spaces.
