Pentaport Rock Festival Returns Offline After Pandemic Hiatus

INCHEON, Aug. 8 (Korea Bizwire)The annual Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival returned to Incheon, 40 kilometers west of Seoul, last weekend after a three-year hiatus.

Due to the pandemic, the festival was held online in 2020 and 2021.

While the festival was held outdoors, visitors had to wear masks since there were more than 50 people congregating.

Despite daytime temperatures peaking at 32 degrees Celsius, visitors were willing to wait in a long line to enter the festival.

¹«¾ÆÁö°æ

The festival attracted about 130,000 people during its three-day run, according to the organizing committee.

RM, the leader of K-pop super group BTS, was one of the notable visitors to the festival, posting a photo on Instagram.
