SEOUL, Oct. 6 (Korea Bizwire) – Singer Lee Seung-hwan is launching a campaign in partnership with the Korea Animal Welfare Association (KAWA) called ‘Pets are Family’.
According to the singer’s agent, Dream Factory, Lee is holding this event together with the KAWA to send out a message that pets are ‘family’, not ‘property’. The event will be called ‘Earth and Moon and Family Pictures’.
The event will continue for two weeks to raise awareness and prevent the abandonment and abuse of pets. To participate, a family picture taken together with pets and a short message written to the pet should be submitted.
Lee Seung-hwan came up with the event from the song ‘Earth and Moon and Me’ from his new mini album ’3+3′. ‘Earth’ and Moon’ are the names of Lee’s two pet dogs, and he expressed his love and gratitude towards the two in the song.
Lee plans to put together the pictures submitted as part of the event and create a promotional video for the song ‘Earth and Moon and Me’.
