Police Fines Two Gangsters for Displaying Their Tattoos

ULSAN, Korea, April 15 (Korea Bizwire)The Nambu Police Station in Ulsan, a southeastern industrial city, fined two gangsters 50,000 won (US$45.5) each after they showed off their tattoos at a sauna, in violation of the Punishment of Minor Offenses Act.

According to the police, on April 12 the two gangsters went to a sauna in Ulsan, and created an air of anxiety and disgust by shouting at others and joking around with each other while showing off their bodhisattva tattoos.

The police station indicted two other gangsters last month on the same charges. It plans to keep cracking down on similar displays at saunas or public baths.
