SEOUL, April 9 (Korea Bizwire) — The Busan District Court surprised its three of employees by awarding them best-employee plaques on which three beautifully made pop-art style portraits of them were printed. On April 8, Ma Young-hee, Jung Jong-hoon and Kwon Tae-won were announced as the recipients of the awards, and received three pieces of fabric printed with their pop-art portraits and statements of their achievements.
The idea was the brainchild of Lee Soo-gon, who works in general affairs for the district court, and the art testimonials were created by artist Yang Se-hee. The chief of the district court said that the portrait plaques could have a positive impact on the recipients’ self-esteem, and confirmed that additional awards of this type would be distributed in the future.
