SUNCHEON, March 28 (Korea Bizwire) — A pre-opening event for the 2023 Suncheon Bay Garden Expo was held in Suncheon in South Jeolla Province on Saturday, one week before the official opening of the expo.
The pre-opening event was crowded with visitors who came to enjoy the beauty of the gardens.
A long queue of visitors waited at the entrance of the expo before the admission hour, showing high expectation for the garden expo which will be held for the first time in 10 years.
All of the 30,000 visitors who received free experience tickets through first-come, first-served reservations entered by the closing time of 1:00 p.m.
In particular, the visitors showed keen interest in the theme garden zone, which has been designed to showcase the unique features of gardens by country.
The well-organized French garden with a focus on western-style architecture, the Spanish garden with an eye-catching fountain, and the Chinese garden highlighting oriental beauty attracted significant attention from visitors.
