RDA Offers Upgraded Version of Dog Food Calorie Calculation App

SEOUL, Sept. 16 (Korea Bizwire)The Rural Development Administration (RDA) began offering an updated version of the smartphone application, “Dog Food Calorie Calculator” after reviewing the feedback of app users.

The app, calculating the amount of food for a dog for a day based on their breeds and weight, informs the obesity of the pets and has a feature which can set a plan to reduce the weight the dogs. With the app, dog lovers can feed their dogs with recommended doses of food just by registering the ingredients of the dried dog foods they are feeding and the information of their dogs.

The latest version added several Korean native dog breeds such as Jindo dog, Pungsan dog, Sapsaree and Donggyeongee and Japanese Spitz in the list. Also, it offers easy searching for a dog breed by just putting the first characters of the breed and debugged other errors in the app. The RDA will keep upgrading the app based on the feedback of the users for the convenience features.

The dog food calorie calculator app is available at Google Play and Apple App Store for free. As of the end of August, approximately 30,000 dog lovers have downloaded the app.
