JEONJU, Dec.14 (Korea Bizwire)A man in his 30s who applied his excrement to a woman’s door has been sentenced to jail.

Yoo (31) was introduced to A (30, female) last month. He was attracted to A and went out with her a couple times, but was turned down when he asked her to have a relationship with him.

Yoo was angry and came up with a way to get back at A. He decided to apply his excrement to A’s front door.

On December 1, Yoo visited A’s apartment and did his ‘business’ in front of her door. Then, with his socks, he applied the excrement to A’s door.

He also was accused of stealing a mobile phone and 200,000 won in cash from a parked car on December 1. He stole 7.8 million won from seven different locations in total.

As a result, he was charged with theft and damage of property, and was sentenced two years in jail.

The prosecution chose to charge him with ‘damage of property’ considering that A couldn’t use the door because of Yoo’s ‘excrement terror’.

After the investigation was concluded, it turned out that Yoo had already served a year in jail for violence, and was released in July 2014. However, his freedom was short lived.

Following the original sentence, the Jeonju Court reversed the original ruling on appeal, and sentenced him to serve 18 months in jail. The court explained that though he applied excrement to the victim’s door and stole property from others, the fact that he reached an agreement with the victim was taken into consideration, resulting in a slight reduction of his sentence.
