SEOUL, Aug. 10 (Korea Bizwire) – Renault Korea Motors announced on August 9 a new program guaranteeing the resale value for customers who purchase its latest hybrid SUV, the New Renault Grand Koleos.
The initiative, aimed at boosting sales of the mid-size SUV’s E-Tech hybrid model, promises industry-leading residual values for customers who trade in their vehicle for a new Renault Korea model.
Under the program, the guaranteed residual value starts at a maximum of 80% of the original purchase price. This percentage decreases over time based on a standard mileage allowance of 1,250 kilometers per month, with the guarantee extending up to five years.
In a move to reward lower mileage, the company is offering an additional 0.5% guarantee for every 5,000 kilometers under the period’s minimum mileage requirement.
The New Renault Grand Koleos E-Tech hybrid, Renault Korea’s first new model launch in four years, is set to be delivered to customers from early next month.
“We’ve prepared an industry-leading residual value guarantee to allow customers to choose the Grand Koleos E-Tech hybrid with greater peace of mind,” said Hwang Jaisub, Head of Sales and Network Development at Renault Korea.
