SEOUL, Feb. 21 (Korea Bizwire) — Roborock, the Chinese home appliance manufacturer, unveiled its latest flagship robot vacuum cleaners, the S9 MaxV Ultra and S9 MaxV Slim, at its 2025 launch event held on February 20 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas.
The company said the new models feature comprehensive improvements in cleaning capabilities, navigation systems, and docking station functionality compared to previous versions. At 7.98 centimeters thick, they represent the slimmest design in Roborock’s history and come in two variants: a standard model and one with a direct-drainage station.
The S9 MaxV Ultra boasts what the company claims is Korea’s highest suction power at 22,000 Pa, coupled with the VibraRise 4.0 mopping system that vibrates 4,000 times per second to remove dirt and stains.
The S9 MaxV Slim introduces Roborock’s first AI-based navigation system, StarSight Autonomous System 2.0. This new technology integrates 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensors and an AI-powered RGB camera, replacing the traditional laser distance sensor (LDS) approach.
Both models feature adaptive height adjustment for brushes, mops, and the main unit, along with a chassis lift system that raises the front wheels. This enables the devices to navigate single thresholds up to 3 centimeters in height and double thresholds up to 4 centimeters.
The S9 MaxV series has received the prestigious Diamond certification for IoT security from UL Solutions, the highest rating available.
At the same event, Roborock also introduced its new F25 series of cordless wet-dry vacuum cleaners. The flagship F25 Ace features JawScrapers technology to prevent hair tangles, leaves no water marks, and its slim design allows for effective cleaning in tight spaces.
“Roborock will continue to make consumers’ lives more convenient through world-class technology and superior quality, while maintaining sustained growth and development,” said Quan Gang, CEO of Roborock.
