SEOUL, Nov. 1 (Korea Bizwire) — The government on Monday ended the distribution of press releases on the daily report of COVID-19 infections that began on January 20, 2020.
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said it will post daily infection reports on its website only, every day at 9:30 a.m.
The online report will show summarized data that includes the number of infections, patients with severe symptoms and other major indices.
More details will be provided in a weekly infection report.
The KDCA will include weekly patterns in the Central Disease Control Headquarters report held every Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Every Thursday, weekly statistical data on vaccinations and side effects will also be provided.
