The National Wetlands Center’s 10-month study on the Jangrok Wetlands since last February showed that the area is home to 829 species, including phytoplanktons, native to the local environment.

Once the area is selected as a National Wetland Protected Area, the Ministry of Environment is obligated to purchase nearby properties to conduct various conservation projects and set up promotion agencies.
