Projects on forest restoration, the protection of water resources, agricultural education on climate change, and soil recovery have been carried out by the two agencies since 2019.

KOICA expects that the new initiative will not only improve the lives of some 15,000 farmers, but help restore the natural ecosystem by rebuilding forests and recovering water resources.
