SEOUL, Feb. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — Korean diplomats rode in the British royal coach in London.
New South Korean Ambassador to Britain Yoon Yeo-cheol on Thursday (local time) submitted the diplomatic credentials to King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.
In accordance with British customs, the ambassador was escorted from his residence to the palace by a royal coach, followed by another coach carrying four employees from the South Korean embassy and escort vehicles from the royal court.
The ceremony took around 20 minutes after which the staff returned to their residence by the same royal coach.
The ambassador and staff presented the horses pulling the royal coaches with a plate of nicely cut fresh carrots and sugar cubes as per tradition.
