SEOUL, Jan. 21 (Korea Bizwire) – The South Korean cable drama “Cheese in the Trap” has topped a Chinese chart, the show’s PR agency said Thursday.
Ytree Company said the tvN drama reached No. 1 on the Weibo Drama Popularity Chart on Monday, when its fifth episode aired. The show also reached No. 3 on the 24-Hour Hot Weibo Chart.
According to the company, “Cheese in the Trap” attracted 350 million views on Monday and 400 million views the following day.
It attributed the show’s success to its star Park Hae-jin, who enjoys a growing fan base in China.’
