SEOUL, August 7 (Korea Bizwire) – S1, Samsung Group’s security company and budget phone operator, has rolled out a new model called the “Galaxy Safe Folder” with safety features for elderly people. For silver surfers who are accustomed to smart devices, S1 integrated the advantage of budget phones and personal safety features into the Galaxy Safe Folder. In case of emergency, when users push the emergency button on the smartphone, S1 security guards will be deployed to check their status.
The Galaxy Safe Folder boasts a 3.8-inch display, the largest for a flip-style phone in Korea, and comes with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras on the back and front, respectively, along with a 1,800 mAh detachable battery.
