SACHEON, Nov. 15 (Korea Bizwire) – The city of Sacheon in South Gyeongsang Province announced on Tuesday that the Sacheon Ocean Cable Car has been designated as one of Korea’s 100 ‘Bambamgokgok’ by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.
‘Korea Bambamgokgok’ is a brand-new night tourism brand developed this year by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.
The Sacheon Ocean Cable Car stands as the nation’s inaugural cable car, bridging a vista of mountains, sea, and islands, providing users with the opportunity to relish the picturesque scenery of Hallyeohaesang National Marine Park.
Adorned with night lights illuminating the Sacheon Sea, the Sacheon Ocean Cable Car offers diverse spectacles and breathtaking night views.
The distinguished attractions designated as Korea’s ‘Bambamgokgok,’ including the Sacheon Ocean Cable Car, will be showcased on the night tourism theme page within the ‘Everywhere in Korea’ section of the Korea Tourism Organization.
City officials expressed, “With this designation, we are committed to exploring a variety of night tourism options to attract overnight tourists.”
