SEOUL, Sep. 2 (Korea Bizwire) – The keyword of Samsung in the upcoming IFA Berlin will be “COVART.” A compound word for collaboration, virtual reality, and art, the main theme will be used throughout the company’s promotional effort in the trade show to be held between September 5 and 10. The art gallery to display Samsung’s drum washing machine “WW9000,” vacuum cleaner “Motion Sync” and “PowerBot” will deliver the main concepts and strengths of the models in artistic ways appealing to the visitors’ sentiments.
Europe’s renowned graphic artists such as Emmanuel Romeuf, KlasFahlen, and Anna Kövecses and three other illustrators have showcased their artworks showing state-of-the-art functionalities masterfully. In the TV category, Miguel Chevalier, a French digital artist, wll show off “Origin of the Curve” that used the curved ultra HD TV developed by Samsung. The artwork to be on display at the IFA features bright-colored curve patterns on the screen that changes depending on the viewer’s movement.
In the home appliance pavilion, the “Center Stage,” in which 40 different home appliances are on display using the virtual reality technique, is awaiting the visitors. The visitor to Center Stage can experience the 85-inch ultra HD screen with a simple touch of the screen through virtual reality rendering. Other appliances such as the refrigerator and washing machine are also available for direct experience.
A Samsung Electronics official said, “We tried to add emotion to home electronic appliances that look hard and complicated. We will work hard to get closer to the customers by introducing emotional appeal in more displays.”
