SEOUL, July 13 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics Co. said Wednesday it will introduce a new feature for its Bespoke Oven, capable of utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) vision recognition technology to identify various types of food through a camera.
The internal cameras of View Camera Bespoke Ovens will receive a software update, enabling them to incorporate the new food recognition feature.
Once food is placed inside the oven and the door is closed, the AI vision recognition technology will identify the type and quantity of instant meals and automatically adjust the cooking algorithm for optimal results.
This new feature has the ability to identify some 10 types of instant meals, such as instant rice and frozen pizza, with plans to include additional food options in future updates.
