SEOUL, Oct. 18 (Korea Bizwire) –Whether you’ve misplaced something important or need help keeping track of your pet during walks, there’s a new mobile accessory from Samsung Electronics that can assist.
Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy SmartTag 2 in Korea, which comes with enhanced features for added convenience.
The Galaxy SmartTag, equipped with NFC (Near Field Communication), is a mobile gadget that you can attach to items like keys or pets that can’t communicate their location. This makes it easy for you to find them.
One of the new features is the ‘Lost Mode,’ which is NFC-based. You can input your contact information and a message on the device. If someone finds it, they can easily access this information on their smartphone.
There’s also an improved ‘Campus View’ mode that helps you intuitively determine the direction and distance of the item’s current location using arrows and numbers in the SmartSync Find app.
For pet owners, the Galaxy SmartTag 2 offers a ‘Walk Mode’ that allows you to record and manage various details about your pet’s activities during walks, including the route, time, distance, as well as meals, water, and rest. This supports better health management for your pets.
The device has a sleek metal design, making it easy to carry around, and it’s rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use with confidence. The battery life is significantly improved, lasting up to 500 days in normal mode and 700 days in power-saving mode.
The Galaxy SmartTag 2 comes in two colors, black and white, and is priced at 36,300 won. If you need multiple tags, a pack of four is available for 129,800 won.
