SEOUL, Nov. 28 (Korea Bizwire)Samsung Electronics Co. said Tuesday it started the global launch of the application SeeColors, which will provide people with vision deficiencies with relatively accurate color renditions.

The South Korean tech giant released the service in Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria earlier this year, while the global release started Monday.

The SeeColors app, developed by Samsung and Hungary-based Colorlite, conducts color tests on users with an accuracy of around 90 percent, and customizes screens to deliver more vivid and accurate viewing experiences.

The program can be downloaded from Samsung Smart TV’s app market, applied to high-end models released since March. The test can also be conducted on smartphones, which can be linked to TVs.
