SEOUL, June 21 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics has partnered with healthtech startup Wellnesys to bring an interactive yoga experience to smart TVs. Using YogiFi, a smart yoga mat developed by Wellness, in conjunction with Samsung Smart TVs, users can practice yoga at home and receive real-time posture correction.
YogiFi’s sensors and AI technology transmit workout data to the TV, enabling instant improvements. The YogiFi app offers customized classes, real-time feedback, a 21-day program, and health monitoring. The app will be available on all Samsung Smart TVs in 2023.
Samsung is also expanding its TV content offerings globally, including free programs in Korea and partnerships with Middle Eastern OTT companies.
