SEOUL, June 28 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics revealed its ‘Serif TV DecoTem Project’ Tuesday, in which professional designers came up with various home decor items (hence DecoTem) that could pair well with the company’s Serif TV.
Samsung’s Serif TV, released in 2015, was designed by the famous Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec brothers, and was notable for its unique design that came in a stylish wood, plastic or metal frame, with a retro look.
Fashion designer Lee Myeong-shin, florist Lee Ju-yeon, and pop-artist Lim Ji-bin participated in the project, each displaying the best of his and her character and specialty.
The items and the artists’ workrooms will be revealed to the public at select Samsung stores across Korea. Samsung will also arrange a ‘DecoTem-making Class’ for customers who purchase the Serif TV, for three days from July 12.
