CHUNCHEON, South Korea, Oct. 24 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics donated five laundry trucks on Monday to five cities and counties in Gangwon Province. The donation was a part of Samsung’s charity ventures to provide laundry services for the elderly and the disabled whose physical displacements are limited.
Each truck is equipped with four washing machines (21kg capacity), an instant water heater, a power generator, and a holding tank.
“It’s a very rewarding experience to be able to provide these vehicles for the second consecutive year,” said Samsung Electronics Vice President Ahn Jae-geun. “We hope the trucks will be of great help to those with physical limitations.”
The company donated three vehicles to Gangwon Province last year.
