SEOUL, Aug. 6 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics Co. on Thursday released a brand-new ceiling-type air conditioner unit that boasts the highest cooling capacity available in the domestic market.
The newly-released air conditioner called ‘Wind-Free System Air Conditioner 4-Way’ comes in two types – a 16-kilowatt (kW) model and 17 kW model that has the largest capacity available in the domestic market.
With the release of the brand-new models, Samsung’s Wind-Free Air-Conditioner System 4-Way is now available in 10 models with capacity ranging from 5.2 kW to 17 kW.
The 17 kW model has coverage that is about 17 percent larger than the existing 14.5 kW model.
The 17 kW model is capable of cooling and heating large spaces such as stores, large conference rooms and restaurants with a floor area of up to 154.5 square meters.
In South Korea, the wind-free air conditioner has been leading Samsung’s air conditioner sales, representing more than 80 percent of total sales last year.
