SEOUL, May 3 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung SDS announced on May 2 the official launch of its enterprise generative artificial intelligence (AI) services, FabriX and Brity Copilot.
During a media day event held at the company’s Jamsil Campus in Seoul’s Songpa district, Samsung SDS unveiled its business strategy for generative AI services and highlighted the formal release of FabriX and Brity Copilot.
Hwang Sungwoo, CEO of Samsung SDS, stated, “With the official launch of FabriX and Brity Copilot, we aim to assist in the hyperautomation of corporate tasks.” He added, “Following our AI innovations that have satisfied consumers in Samsung’s smartphone, TV, and home appliance sectors, we are now bringing generative AI service innovations to enterprises.”
FabriX is a cloud-based service that seamlessly connects a company’s existing systems to AI through a one-stop solution. It enables businesses to link their diverse data, knowledge assets, and operational systems with generative AI, facilitating easy sharing and utilization of these IT resources.
Leveraging high-performance enterprise large language models (LLMs), FabriX can learn industry-specific terminology and data, enabling its application in core business operations that companies already engage in, such as sales, purchasing, logistics, and management support.
Through a ‘Chat’ service, employees can ask work-related questions, and FabriX will provide accurate responses by utilizing internal and external company data.
Brity Copilot is a collaborative solution that supports common corporate tasks frequently performed, including email, messaging, meeting management, and document handling.
By utilizing Brity Copilot, users can benefit from features such as real-time captioning (in Korean and English) and translation (in 13 languages) during video conferences by recognizing the speaker’s voice. Additionally, it provides caption scripts for entire meetings, generates meeting minutes and action plans, summarizes email/messenger conversations, and drafts email messages, leading to increased efficiency across various tasks.
Samsung SDS highlighted that Brity Copilot’s high accuracy in recognizing Korean speech (94%) and real-time translation capabilities enable clear communication without the need for professional interpreters.
After conducting a pilot service with over 10,000 employees, Samsung SDS reported that the use of Brity Copilot in actual work resulted in a reduction of over 75% in the time required for creating meeting minutes and over 66% in the time needed for summarizing and drafting emails.
