SEOUL, June 24 (Korea Bizwire) – Twenty weeks after its debut in the Korean market, sales of Samsung Electronics’ “Active Wash” passed the 100,000 mark. According to the electronics giant, one of its fully automatic washing machines was sold every two minutes in Korea after its official release on February 4. The machine grabbed the No. 1 position with its market share accounting for more than 40 percent.
The washing machine features a built-in sink, which makes hand-washing or pre-washing clothes convenient and easy. Water jets can be activated with the push of a button, and any remaining water is then used during the washer’s regular cycle for clothes in the drum below.
