SEOUL, Dec. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics unveiled its 2026 lineup of sound devices ahead of the opening of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, signaling a continued push to blend audio performance, design and artificial intelligence in its home entertainment strategy.

The new products, which will be introduced at Samsung’s “The First Look” event in Las Vegas on January 4, include the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 Wi-Fi speakers, as well as the HW-Q990H and HW-QS90H soundbars, the company said on December 28.

Samsung said the Music Studio speakers were designed by French furniture designer Erwan Bouroullec, known for his work on Samsung’s Serif lifestyle television, positioning the devices as both audio equipment and decorative objects.

The Music Studio 7 features a 3.1.1-channel spatial audio system with front, side and upward-firing speakers to deliver immersive 3D sound, while the more compact Music Studio 5 emphasizes deep bass through AI-powered dynamic bass control.

The 2026 Q-series soundbars focus on tailoring sound output to room size and listening conditions. The flagship HW-Q990H introduces a “Sound Elevation” function that lifts dialogue to the center of the screen, alongside an auto-volume feature that balances sound levels across different content and channels.

The newly added HW-QS90H is an all-in-one soundbar that eliminates the need for a separate subwoofer and automatically adjusts channel output based on its orientation, whether wall-mounted or placed on a table.

All models feature enhanced Q-Symphony technology, allowing Samsung TVs and up to five connected sound devices to operate simultaneously. The system analyzes room layout and device placement to optimize audio performance.

“By combining sound quality, design and AI capabilities, we aim to deliver rich and expressive audio experiences that fit seamlessly into any space and lifestyle,” said Lee Heon, executive vice president of Samsung’s Visual Display Business.

Samsung said it has maintained the top position in the global soundbar market for 11 consecutive years as it prepares to showcase its latest innovations at CES 2026.
