Samsung Sweeps Display Industry Awards at InfoComm 2024

SEOUL, Jun. 20 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics announced on June 19 that it swept 11 categories, the highest number of awards, at InfoComm 2024, the largest display exhibition in North America, held from the June 12 to 14 in Las Vegas.

Samsung Electronics said that the new products and solutions unveiled at the exhibition received high praise from major North American media outlets, demonstrating the company’s unrivaled technological prowess and innovation.

The company’s newly launched B2B integrated connection platform, SmartThings Pro, claimed five awards. It was named Best Digital Signage Software and Best Large Scale Control System by Commercial Integrator, a North American AV and signage trade publication.

Additionally, SmartThings Pro was recognized as the Best of Show product by official InfoComm media partners such as IT Pro, Sound & Video Contractor, and Installation.

The 2024 model of Samsung’s electronic whiteboard (WAD series), featuring generative AI and voice recognition capabilities, was honored as the Most Innovative Videoconferencing Product by the North American AV trade publication SCN and Best of Show by Tech & Learning, a U.S. education technology magazine.

Making their debut at the exhibition, Samsung’s Color ePaper, capable of displaying stored digital content advertisements without power, and Samsung VXT, the next-generation digital signage integrated content platform, were both named Best of Show products.

Samsung’s Display Configurator, a signage installation simulation solution, was recognized as the Best Installation Support Tool.

Furthermore, Samsung Electronics was named the Favorite Display Brand for the second consecutive year by rAVe Publications, a North American display trade media outlet.

Additionally, the QH55C from Samsung’s smart signage Q series achieved 168 carbon footprint reduction activities, earning it a place in the Green Signage Hall of Fame selected by the German IT publication Invidis in May.
