SEOUL, June 30 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics Co. said Thursday it will take part in the 2023 International IoT Home Appliance Robot Expo.
The event will take place at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju, located 330 kilometers south of Seoul, and will run until this Saturday.
During the expo, Samsung will showcase SmartThings-based sustainable everyday life.
The central exhibition area will feature a SmartThings Energy Saving space, where a range of Bespoke home appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, and air-conditioners, equipped with various energy-saving technologies, will be on display.
Additionally, Samsung plans to introduce resource circulation solutions, such as the “microplastic reduction filter” developed in collaboration with U.S. outdoor brand Patagonia.
This filter aims to reduce the emission of microplastics during the washing process.
