SEOUL, June 4 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics is gearing up to redefine the foldable smartphone experience — again.
In a sleek teaser video released Wednesday on its official Newsroom, the South Korean tech giant offered the first glimpse of its upcoming foldable smartphone, hinting at a refined design that folds like a book and packs more power into a sleeker form.
Though brief, the teaser signals a bold step forward for the company’s foldable lineup, previewing larger screens, high-performance cameras, and deeper AI integration — features Samsung says are no longer just nice-to-haves, but expectations for the modern premium device.
“The demand is clear,” Samsung declared. “An Ultra-experience that goes beyond a simple list of upgraded features — in a smaller and more portable form factor.”
That “Ultra-experience” refers to the brand’s top-tier Galaxy Ultra series, known for pushing boundaries in mobile photography, processing power, and display technology. With its next-generation foldables — widely expected to debut as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 — Samsung is promising to blend industry-leading hardware with seamless AI features optimized for the foldable format.
Samsung’s foldable phones have steadily moved from novelty to mainstream since the debut of the original Galaxy Fold in 2019. Each iteration has aimed to close the gap between innovation and practicality, and this year’s models are expected to raise the bar yet again — particularly in response to rising competition from Chinese rivals in the global foldables race.
The official unveiling is set for July at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event in New York, where the world will see whether Samsung can once again fold the future into the palm of your hand.
