SEOUL, Sept. 1 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics is set to introduce a novel Brewer Kit for its Bespoke water purifiers at IFA 2024, Europe’s largest consumer electronics trade show, running from September 6 to 10 in Berlin.

The new product, designed to capitalize on the growing coffee market and the increasing trend of “home cafes,” transforms Samsung’s Bespoke water purifier into a drip coffee maker. By replacing the existing spout with the Brewer Kit, users can achieve consistent coffee extraction as water flows through multiple streams.

“As more consumers embrace the home cafe experience, we’re excited to showcase a product at IFA that allows Bespoke water purifier users to enjoy drip coffee,” said Lee Moo-hyung, vice president of Samsung’s Digital Appliances Business. “We will continue to provide convenient and smart experiences to consumers through various products.”

The Brewer Kit simplifies the coffee-making process by handling everything from boiling water to blooming and pouring, all from a single Bespoke water purifier unit. Beyond the six basic extraction recipes, users can create personalized recipes through the SmartThings app. Samsung has also partnered with coffee brands Momos Coffee and Pourr to offer optimized brewing recipes.

Set to launch in October, the Brewer Kit will be available as an add-on for existing Bespoke water purifier owners starting in November. The company plans to update its Smart Forward purifiers with brewing functionality to accommodate the new kit.
