SEOUL, Feb. 11 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics said Wednesday that it will unveil its next-generation flagship smartphone on Feb. 26, setting the stage for what is widely expected to be the launch of the Galaxy S26 series, with artificial intelligence features at the forefront.

The company announced that it will hold its “Galaxy Unpacked 2026” event in California at 10 a.m. local time on Feb. 25 — 3 a.m. in South Korea the following day. Although Samsung did not disclose the model name, industry observers expect the new Galaxy S lineup to be introduced.

A 17-second invitation video released by the company features an icon symbolizing Galaxy AI emerging from a box, a signal that enhanced AI capabilities will play a central role in the new devices.

Samsung has increasingly emphasized artificial intelligence as a key differentiator in its premium smartphones, integrating AI-driven tools for communication, photography and productivity in recent models.

The event will be livestreamed on Samsung’s website, newsroom and YouTube channel, reflecting the company’s continued shift toward global digital product launches.

In a statement, Samsung invited consumers to “experience innovations that will make everyday life more convenient and efficient,” underscoring its ambition to position the Galaxy S26 as both a hardware upgrade and a deeper step into AI-powered mobile computing.
