SEOUL, April 7 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics has declared the dawn of the true AI television era with the launch of its expansive 2025 TV lineup, designed to offer personalized, intelligent viewing experiences by understanding users’ preferences, intentions, and behaviors.
At its annual “Unbox & Discover 2025” showcase held Monday at the Samsung Gangnam store in Seoul, the tech giant introduced a comprehensive suite of AI-enhanced products, including the upgraded Neo QLED 8K, OLED, QLED, and The Frame models, alongside supersized screens, the new “Moving Style” portable display, and the ultra-short-throw projector, The Premiere 5.
“The AI Samsung envisions is a companion that seamlessly enhances daily life,” said Yong Seok-woo, President of Samsung’s Visual Display Division. “We are going beyond consumer expectations to deliver experiences that traditional screens simply could not offer.”
At the center of Samsung’s new offerings is a refined AI ecosystem aimed at simplifying everyday life. Three core features define the 2025 lineup: AI Home, AI Assistant, and AI Viewing Optimization.
AI Home introduces advanced features like Home Insight, which analyzes usage patterns and indoor conditions to offer intelligent recommendations such as turning on the air conditioner when it’s hot or activating an air purifier when air quality drops. Home Monitoring alerts users to unusual activity when they’re away.
The AI Assistant brings real-time translation for subtitles and a “Click to Search” function that identifies actors, recommends similar content, and provides related program information—all while viewing.
Samsung also unveiled enhancements in AI Viewing Optimization, including AI upscaling to refine detail and contrast in low-resolution content, and new remastering capabilities that heighten visual immersion with vivid color and dynamic contrast.
The company has significantly expanded its AI TV portfolio. While last year’s lineup featured 34 models across nine series, the 2025 range includes 61 models in 14 series, now extending AI capabilities to QLED and The Frame models. OLED options now span 42- to 83-inch screens, while Neo QLED adds new 100- and 115-inch options, further boosting its large-screen dominance.
Samsung is also broadening access to its Moving Style displays, now available across TV sizes under 55 inches, including Neo QLED, OLED, QLED, UHD, and The Frame. Additionally, The Premiere 5, the industry’s first touch-interactive projector, utilizes triple-laser technology to project up to a 100-inch image from just 43 centimeters away.
In a further expansion of its lifestyle content services, Samsung’s Art Store—previously exclusive to The Frame—is now available on the 2025 Neo QLED and QLED models. The subscription-based platform offers more than 3,000 works from global museums and galleries in 4K resolution, ranging from photography and illustrations to masterpieces from renowned institutions.
As Samsung sets its sights on the future, the 2025 lineup signals a pivotal shift in home entertainment, placing artificial intelligence not just in the screen—but at the heart of the living room.
