SEOUL, March 24 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics announced on Monday the launch of its 2025 lineup of premium gaming and high-resolution monitors, aiming to strengthen its presence in the competitive high-end display market.
The new offerings include the Odyssey 3D, the company’s first glasses-free 3D gaming monitor; the Odyssey OLED G8, a 27-inch monitor supporting 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate; and the ViewFinity S8, a 37-inch professional-grade monitor.
The Odyssey 3D stands out as Korea’s first gaming monitor to deliver a naked-eye 3D experience. Equipped with a lenticular lens on the panel and an AI-powered 3D video conversion feature, it can transform standard 2D content into immersive 3D visuals.
Advanced eye-tracking and screen mapping technologies tailor the display based on the viewer’s eye position for a seamless, high-quality experience. Users can register games via the dedicated “Reality Hub” software to enjoy fully immersive 3D gaming.
The Odyssey OLED G8, available in both 27-inch and 32-inch models, features 4K resolution combined with a 240Hz refresh rate for exceptional clarity and contrast, catering to serious gamers and content creators alike.
Meanwhile, the ViewFinity S8 and S7 monitors introduce the world’s first 37-inch 4K display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, designed to enhance productivity for professionals who demand both screen real estate and crystal-clear resolution.
