SEOUL, Aug. 19 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics Co. on Tuesday unveiled a new wireless earbud retaining key features of its premium Galaxy Buds 3 at a relatively affordable price.
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE will be available in the United States and Europe starting Sept. 5, and gradually expand to major markets, including South Korea, the company said in a release.
“With a larger speaker (compared with the previous Galaxy Buds FE), Buds 3 FE delivers rich, powerful sound with deep bass and clear treble,” Samsung Electronics said.
“The call experience is also improved by the adjusted microphone position, which is optimized for voice pickup with microphones facing toward the user’s mouth,” it added.
The new earbud also maintains key artificial intelligence (AI) features, including access to the Galaxy AI Interpreter app on smartphones.
The device is set to be available at around US$150 in the U.S.
Samsung, meanwhile, did not disclose the local price tag, noting it is still under review. The Galaxy Buds 3 was released in 2024 in South Korea with a price of 219,000 won (US$157).
