SEOUL, Feb. 12 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics has launched a new 55-inch OLED TV equipped with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, the company announced on February 12.
The latest model, part of Samsung’s 2025 TV lineup, integrates a suite of AI-driven features designed to enhance user convenience, home automation, and entertainment experiences.
A standout feature, “AI Smart Home,” analyzes user habits, household device status, weather conditions, and indoor temperatures to offer proactive recommendations. For instance, the TV can suggest turning on an air purifier when indoor air quality declines or recommend closing blinds to improve air conditioning efficiency.
The “Home Monitoring” function utilizes on-device AI, sensors, and built-in cameras to provide real-time security alerts, adding a layer of smart surveillance to the home environment.
Samsung has also introduced “Click to Search,” which allows users to press the AI button on the remote to find similar programs or retrieve information about on-screen characters and content. Additionally, a “Real-Time Translation” feature enables subtitle translation into the user’s preferred language, enhancing accessibility for global content consumption.
The “AI Mode” further optimizes picture quality by recognizing content genres and adjusting brightness accordingly. It also fine-tunes audio settings based on the viewing environment and content characteristics, delivering a tailored audiovisual experience.
Samsung noted that customers can purchase the new OLED TV at a competitive price through the “AI Subscription Club” under its “AI All-in-One” pricing plan, offering a cost-effective way to access its latest AI-driven innovations.
As the race for AI-enhanced home entertainment intensifies, Samsung’s latest OLED TV solidifies its position at the forefront of smart living technology, with further advancements expected in 2026 and beyond.
