SEOUL, Sept. 23 (Korea Bizwire)Samsung Electronics Co., South Korea’s leading tech firm, unveiled a series of YouTube videos to introduce domestic semiconductor plants as well as to offer a full glimpse of the process of producing and distribution chips.

Mainly targeting the “MZ generation,” a Korean term referring to millennials and Generation Z, the video series consists of four clips, with their cumulative view counts estimated at around 1.9 million as of Thursday.

The first clip offers a bird’s eye view of the overwhelming scale of Samsung’s chip factories in Hwaseong and Giheung, and the construction site of a new chip fabrication plant in Pyeongtaek, south of Seoul. These aerial views were taken by a drone.

Another clip introduces a variety of in-house welfare facilities including fitness centers, hospitals, swimming pools and restaurants that could draw interest from young job seekers.

The video clip that was unveiled last week showcases a truck that is loaded with products at the chip packaging facility in Onyang, South Chungcheong Province and then transports the products to Incheon International Airport.

The video showed how semiconductors are packaged and delivered to consumers through trucks and airplanes, while displaying a workplace that runs 24 hours a day and the efforts of the workers therein.
