SEOUL, June 12 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics announced today the upcoming launch of the Odyssey OLED G9, the world’s first OLED gaming monitor with dual QHD resolution. The monitor features a 49-inch curved screen with a 32:9 aspect ratio, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time.
One of its standout features is the Neo Quantum Processor Pro, Samsung’s proprietary picture quality technology. This processor incorporates AI upscaling, dynamically adjusting the screen’s brightness and contrast for stunning and lifelike gameplay visuals.
To enhance the gaming experience, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, effectively minimizing tearing issues during high-end gameplay caused by communication problems. The monitor offers convenient features like height and tilt adjustment and comes with the Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming and streaming services.
Pre-sales for the G95SC model begin on June 26, with the official launch on June 3, while the G93SC model will be available in July. Samsung aims to lead the premium gaming monitor market with their advanced technology.
