SEOUL, Dec. 28 (Korea Bizwire) – A vacuum cleaner with improving robotic options manufactured by Samsung Electronics Co. has been named one of the best vacuum cleaners of the year by a U.S. consumer magazine, according to the magazine Wednesday.
The Powerbot of Samsung was listed as one of the eight best vacuum cleaners in the annual survey by Consumer Reports.
“Samsung’s Powerbot eked out a win in the battle of the best robotics, a category that has seen an onslaught of noteworthy new entrants, including models from Dyson and Miele,” the magazine said in a review posted on its website.
“The Powerbot powered through dirt on carpets and bare floors, and even found its way into tight corners, thanks in part to its rectangular design,” it said.
“It works quietly enough that it’ll go unnoticed, though it’s hard to resist watching it return home to dock and charge after each intensive, 99-minute cleaning session,” it said.
The Powerbot was recently named by Consumer Reports as one of the best gifts of the year in the category of vacuum cleaners with robotic options.
