SEOUL, Oct. 1 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics has provided Lucid Motors, a luxury electric vehicle brand based in California, with a high-tech screen called “The Wall.”
Located at Lucid Motors’ Design Studio in Newark, California, The Wall is a massive, super-clear display that measures 5.65 meters in width and 3.2 meters in height. It boasts an ultra-high-definition resolution of 6720 x 3780, equivalent to around 25 million pixels.
This enormous screen is used for examining and reviewing the designs of upcoming electric vehicle models.
The 255-inch display, featuring micro-LED technology, enables Lucid’s designers to scrutinize vehicle designs at life-size scale and view the exact colors that will be used in the final production.
The Wall goes beyond merely displaying 3D vehicle designs; it also accurately reproduces how textures change as light interacts with the vehicle’s surface.
