SEOUL, Jan. 12 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics’ boldest vision for the future of mobile devices took center stage at CES 2026, as its newly unveiled tri-fold smartphone was named the show’s top product by CNET, underscoring the company’s continued dominance in consumer electronics innovation.
The Galaxy Z Tri-Fold won CNET’s highest honor, Best of CES 2026, along with the award for Best Mobile Technology. The accolades were selected by more than 40 technology experts evaluating products showcased at the Las Vegas trade show in partnership with the Consumer Technology Association, the event’s organizer.
CNET praised the tri-fold device for combining eye-catching design with practical utility, calling it a true hybrid that seamlessly merges a full-size tablet and a smartphone into a slim, foldable form. Among 63 winners across 22 categories, the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold was singled out as the overall best product at the show.
Samsung also earned recognition in other categories. Its premium OLED TV lineup, the S95H series, captured the award for Best TV or Home Cinema, with CNET highlighting a roughly 35 percent increase in brightness compared with its predecessor. In audio, Samsung’s newly introduced Music Studio 5 won Best Home Audio, marking a strong debut for the product at CES.
