SEOUL, Nov. 16 (Korea Bizwire) – The new Pororo movie, which is expected to premiere next month, will receive the ScreenX treatment at South Korean cinema chain CGV.
CGV announced on Wednesday that the latest Pororo’s movie will be released as a ScreenX film with extra content displayed on additional screens to the right and left of the main screen.
The latest Pororo movie sees Pororo and friends travel to an island of dinosaurs to rescue their friend.
It’s the first adventure animation film to be played through Screen X, with its 65 minutes of running time expected to be on full display through three screens, giving the audience a more immersive experience.
When the famous theme song ‘Para Pam’ comes on, an army of robots will show dynamic dance moves across the three screens, CGV said.
“We thought it was fitting to create a ScreenX version of the colorful story with distinctive characters. We hope to present a different animation film experience for the younger audience,” a CGV official said.
