Secret Garden of Changdeokgung Palace Open to the Public

SEOUL, Mar. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — A secret garden hidden inside Changdeokgung Palace will open to the public until April.

On this rare occasion, visitors to Changdeokgung Palace will be able to enter the back garden of Nakseonjae where spring flowers will present a striking view.

A special program which begins next Thursday will be held at 10:30 in the morning between Thursday and Saturday every week until April 28,, during which a guide will show visitors around the back garden of Nakseonjae with commentary, the Cultural Heritage Administration said.

Nakseonjae was used as a study room and a resting place by Hyeonjong of Joseon, who reigned from 1659 to 1675.

Groups of 20 people will be allowed to enter each time, with an admission fee of 5,000 won.

Ticket sales begin next Monday at 2 p.m. on http://ticket.interpark.com/.
