SEOUL, Feb. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Monday it will temporarily allow restaurants, including coffee shops, to use disposable products.
With the coronavirus alert raised to “red”, the highest level in the country’s four-tier system, the Ministry of Environment has issued guidelines on Sunday for allowing single-use goods not only at restaurants frequently visited by Koreans and foreigners but also at other places.
Accordingly, the city has advised all 25 municipalities to offer guidance and thoroughly sanitize multi-purpose containers used in food service establishments.
